Today, we’re discussing using promo items within the wedding and marijuana sectors.

We’ll also look at another promotional stunt from Elon Musk.

Real Life Promos: Wedding Edition

If you’ve never had the pleasure of attending a Bridal Fair/Show/Expo, count yourself lucky. It is essentially a giant trade show where vendors within the wedding industry (and actually quite a few that aren’t) set up booths to meet with engaged couples and their families with the hopes of selling them some flowers or a cake for the big day.

Having been a maid of honor three times myself, I’ve been to more than my share of these events, and they all have one thing in common: they’re incredibly overwhelming. All the white dresses look the same when there are 12 bridal boutiques setting up shop in a single hotel ballroom.

The only way any vendors ever stood out to me was with promo items. If a business was willing to invest in giving me a gift to remember them by, then I felt like I could better trust them to handle such an important life event.

If you’ll recall, we recently talked about medicinal cannabis. Colorado was one of the first states to allow the recreational use of marijuana, so it has been interesting to see the laws governing it unfold.
