We’ll also look at another promotional stunt from Elon Musk.

Real Life Promos: Wedding Edition

If you’ve never had the pleasure of attending a Bridal Fair/Show/Expo, count yourself lucky. It is essentially a giant trade show where vendors within the wedding industry (and actually quite a few that aren’t) set up booths to meet with engaged couples and their families with the hopes of selling them some flowers or a cake for the big day.

Having been a maid of honor three times myself, I’ve been to more than my share of these events, and they all have one thing in common: they’re incredibly overwhelming. All the white dresses look the same when there are 12 bridal boutiques setting up shop in a single hotel ballroom.

The only way any vendors ever stood out to me was with promo items. If a business was willing to invest in giving me a gift to remember them by, then I felt like I could better trust them to handle such an important life event.
