Oreo's Big New Promotional Campaign Involves Branded Roombas, Tons of Other Merch ¹¹

This time last year ¹², Oreo partnered with other brands to run a giveaway promotion they called The Stuf Inside which included a Jeep Wrangler ¹³, an Xbox ¹⁴, and a Roomba. All of the prizes were branded with Oreo ¹⁵ or designed to reflect the cookie itself.

Oreo has been a successful brand ¹⁶ name for over 100 years ¹⁷; it would be easy for their marketing team to get lazy. But instead, they came up with a creative way to essentially offer branded materials with a high price point as sweepstakes prizes.

These are high-ticket retail items, sure, but who says they can't also be promotional products? At one time, the Polo ¹⁸ brand wasn't seen as a promotional product, neither was Bic, Post-It, or countless other brand names.

Additionally, these are novelty, limited edition designs. How many people have a giant cookie that goes around their apartment cannibalizing cookie crumbs off the hardwood?
