Elon Musk Does a Donald Trump, Starts Promotion by Selling Hats

We’ve spent a lot of time analyzing the MAGA hats Trump used for his 2016 presidential campaign. Elon Musk took note of headwear’s branding success and started selling The World’s Most Boring Hat to advertise his new business venture, The Boring Company.

Each one is a plain black baseball cap with The Boring Company’s logo embroidered in white on the front.

The Boring Hat was launched in March of 2017; Musk has since announced that he has raised over $700,000 because of it.
