Today, we invite you to go back in time with us, to July of this year in Chicago for the ASI Show. We’ll also look at how Trump is still using his merch to fund the next election.

Mastering Markets: Education & Health Care

Distributor and Sales Trainer, Danny Friedman gave a talk during Education Day at ASI Chicago. In this session titled Mastering Markets, he offered tips for selling merch into the two largest industries in the promotional space—Education, and Health Care.

Here at Hatswork, we’ve talked extensively about these markets. We’ve offered selling tips for colleges, high schools, non-traditional education, hospitals, and alternative medical practices.

Friedman takes a high level look at both markets and provides his own tips and tricks.

Shark Tank Superstar, Daymond John, Urges ASI’s Chicago Audience to “Keep Swimming”

Did you know Shark Tank’s Daymond John got his entrepreneurial start by selling hats in Queens, New York?

In his keynote address at ASI Chicago, he encouraged attendees to, “Just keep swimming.” And to sell their products by first selling themselves. He says, “Shark Tank doesn’t invest in ideas, it invests in people.”

Trump Merch on Track to Sell Big Again for Reelection Campaign

If last year’s election taught us anything it’s how important promotional products are for planting an idea and pushing an agenda. Just look at those MAGA hats.

This article cites that over 40% of election products being purchased are Trump-related, but not necessarily pro-Trump. As we close in on midterm elections for the Democrats, it will be interesting to see how the candidates follow suit with their campaign merch.

Did you attend the ASI Show in Chicago? What about Orlando or Dallas? Tell us all about it in the comments below. You can also follow us on Instagram using the hashtag #hatswork.
