While it may not be the best for promotional purposes, we had to include this article in a round-up simply for the fact that it lists so many different types of headwear with historic backstories 19 for each.

New KFC Swag is Out of this World 20


Kentucky Fried Chicken 21 has had some pretty out of this world marketing stunts in the past couple of years. Last year, we reported on two promotional campaigns in which they offered chicken-flavored edible nail polish and fried chicken-scented sunscreen 22.

All summer 23, they've been running commercial spots advertising their Zinger sandwich in space stunt in which they launched a sandwich into the stratosphere. Now, KFC 24 is selling branded apparel, jewelry, and household items, including a $20,000 meteorite.
