Update: Bud Light Sent Dilly Dilly Branded Hats, Not T-shirts, to Masters (and We Have Pics)

We have told you before about the importance of capitalizing on micro-moments (see: Buzzfeed and the Failing Pile of Garbage) Bud Light 2 did so in a witty and relevant way for the Masters Tournament 3. Rumor had it, the iconic phrase, Dilly Dilly, made popular by Bud Light's medieval themed commercials 4 was banned at the golf tournament, and anyone caught using it would be escorted out by security. It's unclear whether this was just a rumor, but Bud Light responded by sending 1,000 caps brandishing the saying to Masters attendees. Because,
“If thou cannot say Dilly Dilly, thou can still wear Dilly Dilly.”

While I still haven't check this one off my music festival 10 bucket list, upon stalking Instagram 11, it appears that glitter was the common factor among the 125,000 attendees this year. The other most popular item? Branded products of any and all kinds.
