Arby’s Launches Subscription Box, Sells Out in Minutes

Forget Wine or book of the month clubs, this fast food chain launched their own 6-month subscription service.

We’ve seen countless restaurants drop surprise merch lines, but this is the first subscription box I recall. In a world of Hello Fresh and Birchbox, this feels like a really strategic and relevant marketing move to me, and apparently to the consumers of meaty sandwiches everywhere, because Arby’s sold out almost instantaneously.

As you know, cannabis brands and businesses are banned from a lot of forms of advertising, but not promotional products, events, and trade shows. So, as you can expect, most of them take full advantage of those efforts since they are not allowed to spend their marketing budget on other, widely available advertising practices.

That is good news for everyone in our industry, especially those who reside in a state that has legalized the medicinal or recreational use of marijuana, and cannabis businesses are prevalent.
