Hats Crafted by Local Man End Up Center Stage at Grammy Award

It’s been several weeks since the Grammy Awards, so our apologies for just now getting to this one, but the Grammy-Nominated Band, Midland, caught a lot of attention for the hand-crafted cowboy hats they wore to the awards ceremony.

Holiday Promotion: McDonald’s is Giving Away a $10K Ring that Looks Like a Big Mac

Again, we’re a few weeks behind on this, but it was my favorite Valentine’s Day promotion I’ve seen in years, so we have to talk about it.

McDonald’s gave away an 18-karat ring with seven tiers of diamonds, sapphires, and other gemstones valued at over $10,000. Registrants tweeted their vows of love to the Big Mac using the hashtag #BlingMacContest to enter by midnight on Valentine’s Day.
