Red Cross Announces Fourth of July Giveaway

Between July 1 and July 5, blood donors will receive a free insulated lunch cooler from the Red Cross. The Red Cross often gives away promotional items to entice donors.

Blood donations dip during the months of June, July, and August. This is partly due to the nonexistence of school hosted blood drives in the summer months. The Red Cross needs to collect at least 14,000 donations each day to meet its commitments to hospitals all over the country. The Red Cross now has a mobile app, which allows donors to schedule appointments, track donations, earn rewards, and store health history information.

70% of companies say they would prefer to purchase promotional items that are made in the U.S.A. Do you agree? Let us know in the comments below. You can also follow us on Instagram using the hashtag #hatswork.
