The Pop Shop Wins $500 Giveaway with Outdoor Cap’s Show and Tell Contest

Outdoor Cap recognized Promotional Products Work! Week (PPW!W) by hosting a Show and Tell Contest in which participants submitted proposals consisting of photos and summaries of their plans to feature headwear during the week-long celebration.

PPW!W is an annual event sponsored by Promotional Products Association International (PPAI). The purpose is to create awareness around the effectiveness of promotional products used as advertising tools.

This year the celebration takes place now through Friday (May 23rd – May 27th), so there is still time to get involved!

The Pop Shop received $500 to go toward their promotional efforts, which consisted of showcasing an Outdoor Cap style they refer to as the “Modern Trucker Cap” with a social media campaign utilizing both organic and paid advertising efforts on Facebook and Instagram.

Show and Tell Contest

Additional entries included:

  • Star Promotions is selling caps decorated with the fair’s logo to the 2016 county fairs. Every fairgoer that purchases a promo hat will be put into a drawing to win VIP tickets and Meet & Greet passes to the fair’s concert.
  • Queen of the Tees is offering a discount on promotional caps in store and online. They are also donating all of their old samples to a local charity.
  • PROforma is sponsoring a fishing tournament, and passing out caps promoting the event to participants.
