Hatswork Round-Up: October 13, 2016

Admittedly, we've spent a lot of time the past few months, discussing the presidential election 1, and its many promos. But this is one of the most controversial campaign seasons of our lifetime; can you blame us? ASI has been keeping close tabs on the race as well, so today we're highlighting two of those.

We're also going to discuss some apparel statistics to prove to you once again that hats work.

Presidential Candidates Escalate Spending on Promos 4

President Obama previously held the record for promotional product dollars spent during a presidential race at $6.7 million. Donald Trump 5 is close to doubling that at $11.5 million as of August 2016. In comparison, Hillary Clinton 6 has spent $2.1 million on promos.

If nothing else, this election year has boosted our industry tremendously!
