Hatswork Round-Up: June 16, 2016

June 16, 2016 - By Emily Potter

Each week we’re going to provide you with a compilation of several blog posts or articles relevant to you and your journey towards purchasing promotional hats.

Some articles will be from our competitors and be headwear specific, others will be general industry knowledge or thought leadership, but all of them will be tailored to benefit you.

SAGE

6 Design Terms You Should Know

In keeping with our custom cap design theme this week, we’ve pulled an article SAGE released in March detailing some graphic design terms that will make the process of ordering promotional hats much easier. This blog goes a bit deeper into color and different file types so you can have a general understanding of what the heck your designer is talking about.

HALO

Building the Perfect Promotional Cap

This article, posted by HALO Branding Solutions, dives into some principles we’ve covered here at Hatswork such as Sizing and Curvature, Anatomy of a Cap, and Embroidered Hats. But it also discusses screen-printing and performance materials, which are great for customers in physically demanding roles.

Promo Marketing

We Are the Champions

Promo Marketing took a really interesting angle to explain the promotional products industry earlier this month. The rings, trophies, jackets, etc. that professional athletes spend their entire careers trying to achieve- they’re all promotional products! When a college football team wins the championship, promotional hats with their logo are distributed to the team and the masses. Even Olympic medals are a promo product. Just as athletes work to get their name on T-shirts, industry professionals spend each day doing the same with their company’s name.
